The simple yet authoritative phrase “Hear the Word of the Lord” is often used in the Bible, primarily by the prophets, to introduce an important message from God. Frequently appearing in the Old Testament, the phrase is often spoken just before a prophecy or a command, it’s a reminder to the people that the message being delivered is divinely inspired. The prophets who spoke these solemn and powerful words from God were not simply sharing their own opinions, but were conveying His direct word, therefore establishing the authority of the message. Although the phrase is rooted in the Old Testament, it can be seen as an urgent call to pay attention to God’s Word today, those written in the Bible and those spoken in modern Churches and religious Buildings all around the World. When individuals, couples and families attend a Church Service, they want to be able to hear clearly the “Word of the Lord” spoken by the Priest, join in with the wonderful Worship Songs and listen in stillness to the quietly spoken Prayers. Many old Church buildings with their odd nooks, crannies and stone pillars make this difficult to achieve and can cause congregational numbers to diminish. With the installation of modern Church Sound Systems every member of the congregation will be able to not only hear clearly but see any important visual messages too. Even those with hearing aids can join in the whole Service by connecting to the futuristic Loop System and listen clearly to everything that’s said or sung.
