To visit this area being a bit far from Times Square, it is best to use the subway, for which it is highly recommended to buy the MetroCard, according to the days we count and the times we want to use public transport.
11S Memorial and Museum
The first visit in the morning will be the Museum of the 11S, where we recommend to go before 9 in the morning, opening time, as they usually form large queues. To get there from the center you can take underground line 1 and stop at Chambers Street, direction South Ferry.
The visit of the 11S Museum is quite overwhelming, with many objects, videos, and memories of the attacks on the twin towers of the World Trade Center, so be prepared and be aware of what we are going to see. The visit, doing it with tranquility can take you about 3 hours.

Next to the museum is the 11S Memorial, two large monuments in the form of a pool with waterfalls located exactly where were the twin towers that pay homage to the victims, in addition to having their names inscribed. In this square, we also find a small tree that surprisingly resisted the disaster and that today is preserved as a symbol of hope.
11S Memorial

Financial district
After this visit, you will have to follow the route of New in 3 days descending towards the financial district, where during the passage you will pass in front of Century 21, one of the best outlets of New York. And although we know that it is difficult to resist, we believe that the best option is to leave the purchases for when you finish all the visits that you have scheduled and thus to be able to look for some bargain with more tranquility and time.

Staten Island Ferry
Once you have finished the helicopter tour you can take a stroll through the Battery Park area overlooking New Jersey and the Statue of Liberty where you will find a very moving sculpture: American Merchant Marines Memorial.
When the sun starts to fall it is a good time to catch the ferry to Staten Island, one of the best free things in New York. The journey takes about 15 minutes and you can enjoy magnificent views of the Statue of Liberty and Manhattan Island in one of the highlights of the day. As a recommendation, we will tell you that the best part to enjoy the view is the back area of the ferry.
And also we tell you a secret: if you do this trip during the sunset, the night turn with the illuminated New York skyline is even better.
And as you can not end the day without a good dinner, in the financial district you have two different restaurants that are sure to not disappoint: The Dead Rabbit with good burgers, salads or fish and chips and Delmonico’s, a New York classic.
Once with dinner in the stomach, you can return by metro to your accommodation and end this trip to New York in 3 days.
