Beautiful Bedrooms on a Low Budget

Linda Blair August 08, 2019 Reviews Leave a Comment

If your room’s decor is becoming a bit flat and dull and you no longer feel good when you walk into the bedroom, then it’s time to tidy things up. Your bedroom must be a resting place that relaxes you, a haven of calm and the expression of your personality. It is possible to undertake a makeover without going bankrupt, so look at these best tips to beautify your room on a budget:

Bedding

The easiest and fastest way to inject luxury into your room is to pamper yourself with new bedding. The colour and design of your bedding can adjust the tone for the entire decoration so that if you choose cotton, satin, graphics, flowers or crisp white – you can be classy or modern and it all starts with the focal point of your bed.

Wardrobe

If you want to free up much-needed space, then consider Hampshire Fitted Wardrobes who can help you with a variety of bespoke storage solutions that will look chic and modern. This wardrobe will allow you to free your room from chaos, making you more able to relax and unwind. Chaos can unconsciously trigger stress so having a hidden storage solution can be the answer to a much better night’s sleep! Visit lamco-design.co.uk/fitted-wardrobes/ for more information.

Bedside Table

You don’t need to buy a new one, you can easily reuse the furniture that you already have. Sand it and repaint it or go exploring at a local charity shop or reclamation place to get a great offer. You can even change the handles on existing items to breathe new life into them without having to buy new. Handles and pulls can be as decorative as you want to add personality to your furniture.

Displays

Why not dress up the dressing table? Creating a focused look will personalize your space and add a touch of luxury. Some ideas include flowers, silk, ornaments, framed family photos, hanging artwork on a cupboard or attractive candle displays. Don’t forget the wall too. You can hang metal artwork for modern nuances, family canvas prints, mirror decorations or anything that suits you and matches the theme you are looking for.

Add a Rug

The simple addition of a soft plush carpet can make the room look bigger and flow better. It will also feel beautiful under your feet. To avoid rugs crawling on the floor, make sure you get one carpet large enough to tuck under the edge of the bed and one other piece of furniture.

Windows

Often ignored, dressing up windows can make a big difference in the atmosphere of the room. Pamper yourself with new poles, stylish new curtains, or explore the various available blinds that allow you to adjust the level of light and change the atmosphere to add some ‘wow’ to your window.
