Tips for the Care Assistant Job Interview and what to bring along!
Your ID and Right to Work Documents
Most recent passport or current driving license and a utility bill or bank statement that confirms your address. The employers are required under law to check that you can work in the country so it’s going to save them some time if you bring the relevant documents.
Proof of Qualifications and Training
Any relevant Care Certificates, First Aid Qualifications, and Manual Handling Certificates that you hold (in original form or as clear copies) will be required for your interview for Care Assistant Jobs.
Your DBS Certificate
If you already hold a DBS certificate, bring a copy of this with you to your interview. We explain DBS checks for care roles in more detail if your certificate is due to expire or if you are applying for your first DBS check for a care role.
A Few Prepared Questions
