Magnesium is a mineral needed by every cell in your body. About half of the magnesium in our body are found within the cells of the tissues and organs of the body, and the other half are combined with calcium and phosphorus in the bones. Only 1 percent of the magnesium in the body is blood. Your body works hard to maintain constant blood levels of it.

Benefits in bodybuilding

Magnesium is needed for more than 300 biochemical reactions in the body. It helps maintain normal muscle and nerve function, keeps heart rhythm and strong bones. It is also involved in energy metabolism and protein synthesis.

Energy production

are numerous chemical reactions dependent magnesium and which are necessary for the metabolism of carbohydrates and fats in our body. Magnesium is required for ATP synthesis in mitochondria element. ATP or adenosine triphosphate is the only molecule that provides the most energy for all metabolic processes.
