Faults Caused By The Jam In Your Car

If you spend a lot of time on the road for sure you already know that the jam can cause more than one breakdown in your car. The braking and restarting the match every two by three, in every traffic jam we take throughout our life, somehow had to take the bill. But this is not the only maneuver that can damage your car, much more are given and it is important to take them into account and correct them.

Fault in the clutch:

Faults caused by the jam in your car

Each time we get stuck in a jam the clutch is the first that can suffer a breakdown, so in order to suffer as little as possible it is important to follow the following tips: start in jams accelerating with maximum smoothness without the engine reaching To exceed 1,200-1,300 rpm, always tread the clutch fully when we want to change gears and avoid being stopped by the first speed set.

Brake failure:

The best option of all is not to wait until the last moment to brake but neither in a jam nor outside. Braking at the last moment increases the wear of brake pads and brake discs by up to 40%. A good advice is to use the engine brake, lift the foot off accelerator so that the car slows down by itself and go reducing of gears.

Fault in the air filter:

Getting too close to the ass of the car before us does not do you any good, first because you are not respecting the safety distance and second because the entrance of particles of soot and dust from the exhaust pipe of the other car in our air filter can hurt To the engine preventing enough clean air to reach its combustion.

Fault in cooling system:

Have you ever had your car thermostat needle shot? You would be neither the first nor the last. This usually happens more often in summer. When cars circulate, the air in the front grille helps to cool the engine but if we are stuck in a jam the cooling system is in charge of maintaining the engine temperature. If by chance the radiator, antifreeze, thermostat or fan were not in good condition, the engine could overheat.

If you happen to happen at any time, put the heating to maximum so you can lower the temperature of the radiator.

Fault in the gearbox:

If you are usually in a jam, it will put extra effort into the manual gearbox, especially at the first gear. Over time, there may be looseness in the gears causing failure of the shift rods, insertion of gears, etc.

It is true that there are factors that escape our hands but most of the breakdowns arise because of the driver himself, due to lack of maintenance or more use of the vehicle.
